ABOUT THE ARTIST  Known for his floral paintings, this artist also paints landscapes, still-lifes, birds
and shells. His typically small paintings are filled with detail, elegant lines and
vibrant colors.
He now works solely in acrylics. "They have the advantages of both oil and
watercolor," he says. "But they're easier to use, there's unlimited color selection,
they dry fast and clean up with water."
