Joni Arb

About the Artist: 

Joni S. Arb's artistic talents have been recognized by The Landings Art Association plus other area shows since coming to the Landings ten years ago. In addition to her first love, "Watercolors", Joni has expanded her painting experience to include Oils and Pastels. Joni is a native of St. Louis Missouri. She has lived and studied art in many different locations including Michigan, Texas, Kentucky and, presently, The Landings. These moves allowed her to become inspired by many talented artists, different landscapes and various techniques.

About the Work: 

Joni believes nature is a work of art, and one secret to a good painting is capturing this natural beauty and color without overworking the piece. Joni loves the artistic environment of Savannah and believes,"the natural beauty of the low country provides great opportunities to expand her art inspiration, knowledge, experience, and overall enjoyment".
