Suzanne Croci
Suzanne Croci, a graduate of Ohio State University with a Masters in Nursing , is a retired nurse educator. Suzanne was on the nursing faculty at OSU, Ohio University in Athens and at Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio. She then coordinated a Cancer Resource Center for 10 years. Before retiring in 2000, she spent five years as Coordinator of Professional Education for Physicians and Nurses. She was Coordinator of the Geriatric Education Center at OU during her last five years of employment. In 2002, after 31 years in Athens, Ohio, Suzanne and her husband, Hank, moved to the Landings. She began painting in acrylic while her husband was a resident in Ophthalmology at Ohio State. Her painting was put on hold for several years as she raised two children, Mike and Shelly and taught nursing. She has studied drawing and painting with artists in Columbus and Athens, Ohio, St. Petersburg and Sarasota Fla. and Savannah. She has served on the Landings Art Assoc. Board as Membership and Program chairman and President.
The impressionist style is her favorite. the vistas and flowers of the low country provide constant inspiration for her, even just by looking out hwe window or sitting on her deck.
