Becky Frame
Becky Frame was born and raised in Madison, Florida. She graduated from Auburn University in 1973, with a degree in Art Education. After teaching for several years, Becky did free-lance artwork while she and her husband, Tim, raised their two sons, Tim, jr. and Andy. Her artwork ranged from graphic design to house portraits. While living in Richmond, Virginia, she studied painting at the Virginia Museum of Art. Soon after moving to Savannah in 1996, Becky opened B. Frame Design, a Faux Finishing and Decorative Arts business designing and hand-painting walls and furniture, and color consulting. Over the past 12 years Becky has painted in hundreds of homes here at The Landings as well as the surrounding Low Country area. She has studied in Greensboro, Vero Beach, San Antonio, and Las Vegas, to expand her palette and refine her skills. Mega-yachts have also added an interesting element to her list of clients. In the past two years, Becky has concentrated on oils and watercolors, while continuing her Faux Finishing and Decorative Art business.
Commissioned artwork has been a daily commitment for many years. Pen and Ink portraits of home, hand-painted ceramic tiles, and note cards were Becky’s main emphasis until twelve years ago when she began her Faux Finishing and Decorative/Mural painting business, B. Frame Design. She has created many unique solutions on walls, ceilings, furniture, and accessories. Color palette plays a big part in all of these projects. Over the years, excitement about painting in her studio has driven her to begin painting on canvas and paper again. Painting mostly Oils and Watercolors, Becky has shared a two-person show with Artist and friend, G. S. Hill, here at Delegal Marina the past two years. Commissions for paintings, Wall Panels, Portraits of Homes, as well as, Faux Finishing and Decorative Painting are welcome.
